Location. The Summit is part of the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino in Reno, Nev., which provides 24 hours of casino action plus a wide range of family oriented activities. Nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, this full service resort is located within two miles from Reno Tahoe International Airport and Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts, six miles from Wild Island Family Adventure Park and 35 miles from Lake Tahoe.
Hotel Features. The resort's casino spans 80,000 square feet and is open 24 hours daily. The health club offers treadmills, elliptical trainers, free weights, climbing wall, indoor pool, jetted tubs and steam rooms. The spa features relaxing massages, aromatherapy and body wraps.
Just off the casino floor, Restaurant Row provides six bars, nine restaurants and a Starbucks. Dolce features upscale Italian cuisine and delectable martinis in an intimate, glamorous Hollywood ambiance. The Coffee Shop serves traditional breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The Crystal Lounge offers fine wines and a live pianist. Reserve is a self serving wine bar that a rare selection of white and red wines and champagnes.
Guestrooms. The Grand Sierra Resort & Casino houses 2,000 spacious guestrooms and suites, most with mountain, city or river views. Accommodations feature contemporary design, ample seating areas, writing desks and entertainment centers. The bathrooms provide heat lamps and complimentary toiletries. WebTV and high speed Internet access are available for a fee. The top 11 floors of the hotel have been transformed into The Summit, 825 luxury condominium suites featuring butler pantries, spa inspired bathrooms with marble showers, 42 inch flat screen televisions, and upscale leather and suede furnishings.
